As part of Pon — the world’s largest bicycle manufacturer — we lead the European market in B2B bicycle leasing. Operating under strong brands like Lease a Bike, BusinessBike, and B2Bike, we serve markets in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, the US, and Sweden, with more countries on the horizon. Our digital platform connects companies, employees, and over 8,000 dealers, making bike leasing simple and scalable.

Your role

As Junior Financial Controller, you will play a key role in our financial reporting and control processes, collaborating with colleagues across multiple departments and countries. You’ll be part of the Financial Control team (7 controllers, of which 4 based in Amersfoort), working closely with Financial Operations and Business Control. You will support one of our more experienced Financial Controllers with the day-to-day and month-over-month tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• Support in timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting based on Dutch GAAP;

• Collaborate on a day-to-day basis with the Financial controllers, Finance Operations and Business Controllers to optimize financial processes and internal controls;

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes across international entities;

• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Our Application Process

We keep it simple and personal — two interviews to get to know each other:

1. First interview: Meet with the Team Lead Financial Control and a Financial Controller

2. Second interview: Meet with the Head of Finance

Below we have highlighted the required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in finance.

• Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);

• Business fluent Dutch and English both verbal and written, French is a plus;

• You are willing to travel to our office in Amersfoort at least twice a week and make occasional visits to your OpCo’s outside of the Netherlands.
