Finance Internship

BMS is headquartered in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. As an intern at BMS, you will be part of the Finance Department, which is structured into three core areas: Finance Operations, Financial Control, and Business Control.

Your tasks

As a Finance Intern at BMS, you will gain hands-on experience across all areas of our Finance department, including Business Control, Financial Control, and Finance Operations. Your main tasks will include:

• Supporting the Finance team with a variety of ad-hoc tasks, giving you insight into daily financial operations and processes

• Assisting in budgeting and forecasting cycles, and contributing to the preparation of financial planning materials

• Performing P&L analyses and helping to create meaningful insights for monthly and quarterly business reviews

• Building and updating Excel-based financial models and reports to support performance tracking and decision-making

• Preparing and analyzing financial data, helping to ensure the accuracy and structure of key datasets used across the business

Application process

The application process involves one interview. You will meet with the Teamlead Business Control and a Group Business Controller.

We are looking for an open-minded and motivated individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in an international environment. Ideally, you bring the following qualifications:

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Management

• You have a strong interest in finance and a hands-on mentality, with a willingness to take ownership of your tasks

• Previous internship experience in finance, audit, or a related field is preferred and will be considered a strong asset

• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; Dutch language skills are a plus

• You bring a collaborative mindset, enjoy working in diverse teams, and are open to stepping outside your comfort zone to grow personally and professionally
